Our kitchen offers traditional dishes from Ampezzo and the Dolomites as well as from other regions of Italy: unforgettable homemade dumplings and raviolis from a very old recipe.
The grill meat of cows from Cortina, renowned since times immemorial is an old favorite, but we suggest that you must taste ours first courses as well as our homemade desserts.
Our cooking highlight genuine flavors and the presentation of these dishes enhances the overall experience.
Our ingredients of the best quality are purchased from well known providers, local when possible. We strive to respect the natural cycle of the products, therefore in the fall you will find, for exemplum, pumpking gnocchi and risotto with radicchio from Treviso, hot cereal soup and apple and pear strudel.
In summer you could find gnocchi of ricotta with fresh tomatoes, strudel with peaches or with cherries, homemade gelato of wild mix berries.
All year around you will find tortellini made with potatoes, inspired from those “Culurgiones” Sardegnos of grandma Lucia, our well known spaghetti “al pugno chiuso” or “ciaspes” au gratin; you will love our home made pate, made in the old traditional way and with secrete ingredients.
We suggest our first rate snails Bourguignon style and for the enthusiastic , grill “rognoncini”; you can’t overlook our steaks, “Florentina” or “Tartare”, the grilled lamb chops with integral polenta or with potatoes ”Ampezzo” style, sauté with onions and speck.
And then… well, relax and enjoy because it will take time to prepare such a glorious food, you must eat it to believe it.

Accessible on foot or by mountain bike from the center of Cortina d’Ampezzo, along the route of the former railway, El Zoco is located in the resort Cademai, on route 51 Alemagna toward Dobbiaco and Austria. Coming from the north, the venue is located at the entrance of Cortina, near the junction to the hospital Codivilla-Putti.
Ideal point of departure and arrival for those who love sports, is only a five minutes drive from the entrance of the Natural Park of the Dolomiti d’Ampezzo, a few minutes from the Faloria and Freccia nel Cielo cable cards, from the Olympic Ice Stadium, from the Guargne-Mietres chair lift, from the heliport, from the cross-country track and the Fiames Sport Center.
The roof terrace of the restaurant is perfect for those who want to see the mountains of Cortina from Pomagagnon to Cristallo and to Faloria, and from Becco di Mezzodi to Tofane.
The large parking is reserved for clients who arrive in cars, motorcycles, buses or campers.
